Fara Tolno is a traditional African Folklorist specializing in Djembe culture of the Mande people. Since the age of nine, he has been initiated through all drum, dance and singing regiments in village and ballet ritual performance.

In this comprehensive instructional DVD, Fara takes you step by step through six traditional djembe ensemble rhythms. Each rhythm includes an explanation of its origin and meaning and is broken down into its specific parts: Djembe 1, Djembe 2, Doundounba, Sangban and Kenkeni (w/ bells), as well as an ensemble performance.
